A photography collective of highly experienced and established wedding photographers.
Our team depends on, challenges, and supports each other, to ensure that you receive the care and attention you deserve and a collection of images that tell the complete story of your day.
As professionals, we hold deep gratitude for the opportunity to document your wedding day.
And as friends, we could not think of anything better than doing this together!
Long before Sungold Studios made this collective "official", we often worked side-by-side at events.
It didn't take long to discover that our style, approach, and goals for our clients were fully aligned.
And that commonality, along with our passion for storytelling, our love for the PNW, and our deep appreciation for the brilliant humor of The Office, created the foundation for a beautiful friendship.
They say; you are the people you surround yourself with. And if you ask us, we are surrounded by some pretty solid people!
You'll feel like your posed portraits are easy, your family portraits run smoothly, and not once will your guest be distracted by your photographers. We intuitively know when to step back and let the story speak for itself and when to step in and direct and help. And should some unforeseen complication make things challenging or the timeline go out the window, we know how to think on our feet and handle the situation on the fly.
You'll feel less stress and more excitement, both before and during your wedding. And that can only be accomplished with thorough planning, preparation, and a positive, helpful attitude. Prior to your day, we'll help you plan your timeline, family photo lists, and all of the details for the photography. And we'll communicate the plan ahead of time so your photographer will be fully focused and prepared.
We aren't a super large photography studio where you, and all your wants and needs, get lost among a network of photographers. And we aren't a brand new, unestablished baby studio either. We like to consider our studio the perfect sweet spot in between.
We're just right.
Our style is consistent and cohesive. Should you ask us who on our team is 'the best', we can each confidently say not one of us is better than the other. And one look at our collective images will prove that.
Although we may not always photograph a wedding together, we're constantly communicating and creatively collaborating on ways to make your day even better. We build on each other's strengths and creatively make each other better. With one common goal in mind: Your joy and satisfaction.
Unlike solo photographers, if one of us gets sick or anything were to happen, you can relax knowing that you have a support system and a built-in safety net of like-minded photographers with the same
style and values.
Consider me your photography matchmaker. I'll likely be the first person you speak with and your main point of contact throughout this journey.
To me, weddings are one of the most beautiful human experiences. And as a photojournalist at heart, storytelling comes pretty naturally to me. I have taken this same approach with hundreds of happy couples. And it's the same approach our studio will take with your wedding.
And we want to make the process to make that happen as easy and stress-free as possible.
